This is the blog for the ExILED (Exploring Identities and Locations of Educational Developers) project. The work is funded by SEDA as part of their 2013 Legacy Grant Scheme.

Dr. Colleen McKenna, Project Co-director
Colleen has taught and published in the area of academic practice, digital literacies, OER and academic writing.
From 2000-2011, she lectured at UCL including teaching on the PGCLTHE and MA Education programmes and she participated in CPD4HE JISC project – both as a contributor and a member of the Steering Group. She has also been a member of steering groups for JISC and ESRC projects in digital literacies and online learning practices.
With Dr Jane Hughes, she is a founding member of Hedera LLP, an HE consultancy partnership and together they have worked on the JISC/HEA Disciplinary Thinking OER project led by the University of Bath; the JISC/HEA Sustainable Texts project co-led by UCL and Hedera; the HEA UKPSF Impact study led by SEDA.
Dr. Jane Hughes, Project Co-director
Jane led the Learning Technologies Programme in the UCL Centre for the Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT) and taught on UCL’s accredited PGCLTHE and MA Education programme. Jane was the project director for CPD4HE, which developed OER for academic practice. She has served on a number of institutional committees including UCL Quality Management and Enhancement Committee. She publishes on e-learning and computer-mediated communication and is a regular presenter at learning technologies conferences.
